Carbide grade that can ease damage during EDM. Excellent wear and chipping resistance due to fine WC grains.
By adding and dispersing a certain amount of coarse WC grains, crack propagation during EDM is prevented and chipping and electrolytic corrosion are suppressed.
It also reduces residual stress during sintering, a factor that causes cracking during WEDM.
Low content of Co reduces the thickness of the damaged layer that occurs during WEDM.
