Features
Compared to other grades with equal hardness, the fracture toughness value of EW40 is relatively high, so with this grade cracking and chipping can be prevented or improved without reducing hardness. It also has excellent corrosion resistance.
This grade’s impact resistance and fracture toughness is higher than EW25 due to higher Co content, however wear resistance is reduced by one rank.
